1 Month!
Reed is 1 month old!
He weighed 9 lbs 14 oz at his two week check up.
We may need to put him in the fruit scale to get an updated weight. haha I would bet he's 11 lbs now.
He's wearing 0-3 month sleepers and 3 month shirts.
His feet were the first thing to grow out of the newborn sleepers. He definitely got long monkey toes from me.
Still wearing newborn pants, and they're all quite long on him, but getting tight on his tummy.
He's built like a football player like his dad.
He's wearing size 1 diapers; we never did finish all the newborn diapers we had.
He's still eating almost every 2 hours to the minute.
He's been a pretty calm baby, except when he's gassy. I think his tummy hurts fairly often.
He's starting to sleep 4 hours at night, and has been going to bed at about 1 a.m.
He smiles and laughs in his sleep a lot. I hope to catch it on video soon.
His favorites are laying in his crib looking at his Cat in the Hat bumper, listening to Veggie Tales Christmas, and dancing around to whatever Dad is singing. He loves to sit up and look around. He holds his head up most of the time. He will lean himself forward till he's laying on his legs, and will stay that way for quite awhile. He loves that breech position!
He doesn't like to lay in the crook of our arms or up on our chest very much. He's not a fan of being chilly and will let us know asap. He takes a pacifier once in awhile, but not for very long at a time.

- How far along? 36 weeks 2 days
- Total weight gain: 22 lbs at the last appointment
- How big is baby? Honeydew melon
- Maternity clothes? Ripped the crotch out of my favorite capris. All maternity t-shirts daily.
- Sleep? Pretty good. I was waking with horrible hip pain, but it hasn't been as bad.
- Movement? A little bit everyday. I often find his head in my ribs.
- Food cravings? french-fries,french-fries,french-fries
- Labor signs? Still a few braxton-hicks contractions I think. Maybe.
- Belly button in or out? In.
- What I miss: being able to walk fast between classes
- What I'm looking forward to: Putting my feet up.
- Milestone: 25 days till due date
Consignment Shopping
Omaha has a twice a year consignment sale.
Most of the items were $1 or so.
I splurged and paid $6 for this Gap outfit. The pants are lined, and can be rolled up into shorts.
I think I saved about $29 on a baby denim jacket.

- How big is baby? Rutabaga sized.
- Maternity clothes? Same shorts daily. Can wear a few t-shirts. Some maternity tops.
- Sleep? None for awhile. Total insomnia. Back to normal now.
- Movement? Daily. Got kicked hard enough to shake the laptop today.
- Food cravings? Anything salty, but keep the ice cream away from me, yuck.
- Labor signs? A few braxton-hicks contractions I think. Maybe.
- Belly button in or out? In.
- What I miss: not much, back to normal now
- What I'm looking forward to: School being in.
- Milestone: Made it to 3nd trimester.... as of Friday.

Little Update

- How big is baby? Avocado sized.
- Maternity clothes? Still wearing regular t-shirts, but I need some new shorts.
- Sleep? Yes, lots.
- Movement? None yet.
- Food cravings? Anything salty, but keep the ice cream away from me, yuck.
- Labor signs? None.
- Belly button in or out? In. No change.
- What I miss: Air Conditioning
- What I'm looking forward to: School being out.
- Milestone: Made it to 2nd trimester.
